First of all thank you very much for letting me share my experience at Explora Journeys, it was my first contract with this company, however i've been in other company. I had a terrible contract with this company, when i was embarked from my country to Turkey, they aren't provide us accommodation like hotel, so no rest on that day, after pick up time from airport we directly went to the ship, we had a training for one hour, afterwards we have to go to our section 8 p.m in the evening after long Journeys 19 hours flight. Imagine how tired we are. We are not a machine or robot.
And supervisor just told me this is your section this your locker and this the pantry. I was like my god ,
with no rest and no training before we start our job.
Also there is no proper communication between supervisor or manager with the host, we have to listen what they said, and they won't listen for what I said, If i have something to say, one way communication only.
 
Also Small things it will become big.
 
There is no proper training aslo onboard about our job, supervisor want us to learn from our colleagues, they won't teach us. But if we make mistake he will number one giving us the paper to sign, it's like intimidated and discrimination for me.
Working system also disaster, housekeeping are not using trolley like what supposed we have to use, we have small trolley like a luggage that we are using for amenities only. The rest like towels and water we have to take from our locker and pantry.
Wasting too much time !!
It's very thought and hard working onboard without trolley especially turnaround day. They should think about this.
Also to get the linen and face towel, we have to go to laundry and make a queue linen keeper will distribut and again we have to waste our time.
Sometimes we have to pick up the letter from the guest service (receptionist) which are not belongs to housekeeping job, but this what we are doing onboard
They said ultra luxury ship, but how they treat the crew like this haha
a lot of crew left this company, because they are not comfortable working onboard.
They should do better for the crew.
