Royal Caribbean International’s newest mega ship, Star of the Seas, is almost ready to set sail.


The start-up crew has begun arriving at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland, with 12 buses bringing in the first wave of team members. With a full crew capacity of 2,350, many more are expected to join as the ship prepares for its August 2025 debut from Port Canaveral. 🙌

    Hi, MSC Cruises is having fleet wide issues regarding the salary of the crew members, especially in housekeeping. The company doesn't give "guest satisfaction" if you don't reach the "target scores". The ships are always full with no gratuity, they even remove payment for the luggage, they increased the numbers of cabins up to 24, they reduced the sections and manning of cabin attendants resulting to long rotation. And now, the salary is coming back like before. So much money is missing...
