I am working for Silversea cruise company 6 years and prefer to stay anonim as all facts I describing below it is not subjective opinion but present reality since last 2 years.

I would like to take into your account about several ongoing issues affecting crew welfare and operational standards.

Firstly, there appears to be a lack of support and cooperation for old "original" crew who were very proud before to work for this company. Instead of promoting and hold experienced personnel who have served the company for years, there has been increasing trend of recruiting new hires who totally does not meet the expected standards of service and even qrooming. The standards of Silversea are not respected by new hires. All these has led to conflicts within the working environment.

There is a growing perception that some new hires have been provided innacurate or misleading information in their CVs, further impacting on team performance.

These kind of issues may not be fully visible to top office management as the more important it is only numbers and raiting, not the working atmosphere on board. Even by high raiting of any department the real situation on board is not visible and often not addressed to relevant person.

Futhermore, it is evident that previous corporates personnel, who actively was taking care such matters had been eliminated by RCCL or no longer with the company, leaving crew members feeling unsupported.

Current office management and schedulers practices also appear to overlook important personal considerations such as requests from couples to be assigned on the same ship.

This luck of consideration can significantly affect the mental well-being of crew members.

Another key concern is the limited access to effective support system/corporates/contacts who truly can help .

At present, crew members primarily rely on the hotline for assistance however this channel does not resolve the issues describing above. Feedback shared through surveys does not appear to result in meaningful actions or improvements.

Since RCCL discontinuing to collaborate with V-ships, - the overall situation seems to have further deteriorated.

I respectfully request that these concerns be reviewed and addressed appropriately by relevant authorities with a focus on improving crew welfare, their personal requests, maintaining service standards and strengthening internal supporting systems.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
