During my assignment on Celebrity Apex, I encountered a level of mistreatment from my direct manager that was unprecedented in my professional career. From the very beginning of my contract, it became clear that I was not being provided with the support, guidance, or resources necessary to succeed in my role. Instead, I was placed in circumstances where expectations were unclear, information was withheld, and the environment made it increasingly difficult to perform effectively.



Although I was repeatedly told that I was “welcome to the team and family,” my actual experience did not reflect those words. I consistently felt isolated, excluded from essential communication, and treated as an outsider rather than as a valued member of the team. This disconnect between what was said and what was practiced created a work environment that felt both discouraging and professionally undermining.



Throughout my career, I have always taken pride in my work ethic, adaptability, and commitment to high standards. I have thrived in demanding environments and have consistently demonstrated the ability to lead, collaborate, and deliver results. The challenges I faced on Celebrity Apex were not due to a lack of capability or dedication on my part, but rather the result of a leadership approach that did not foster fairness, inclusion, or professional development.



My contract ended after three months, and the experience left a significant impact on me. It was disheartening to feel set up for failure rather than supported in contributing to the success of the operation. Despite this, I remain committed to maintaining professionalism, learning from difficult experiences, and continuing to uphold the values that have guided my career. My intention in sharing this is not to assign blame, but to accurately reflect the reality of the situation and the effect it had on my ability to perform my duties.
