Hello crew center pls help us!


Hey everyone,
We are currently working in the Food & Beverage department at Margaritaville at Sea, and we really need some advice about a difficult situation.

There’s a big conflict of interest happening in our department. Our female ROM (Restaurant Operations Manager) is in a relationship with the Hotel Director, which makes things very complicated. Because of that, we can’t really speak up, share our side, or even express opinions without worrying about RETALIATION from our management.

If she doesn’t like someone, she makes that person’s life really hard. People are scared to say anything because she holds grudges and the Hotel Director always takes her side. Going to HR doesn’t help, because any complaint or hearing goes to the Hotel Director first , last time people complaint they got terminated or NOT FOR REHIRE, so nothing is really CONFIDENTIAL or FAIR.

It feels like our department is stuck in a very toxic situation. Everyone is walking on eggshells, afraid to lose their job or be targeted. The only time our department is happy is when both of them is not onboard.

What can we do in a case like this, when HR isn’t an option and the management is protecting each other?

Any advice on how to handle this safely would really help. I hope our CEO sees this 🥹
