I wanted to share something special with this community because I genuinely believe this book will resonate with many.
I recently co-authored Sailing Through the Excess, based on the true story of Timmo Elliott’s 13 years working aboard some of the world’s most prestigious superyachts.
And honestly… the reason this story hit me so hard is because so many of us understand what it means to live and work at sea, away from home, under pressure, constantly adapting to people, expectations, and worlds most outsiders never fully understand.
Of course, yachts are a different level of luxury… but behind that polished exterior? There’s sacrifice, loyalty, exhaustion, and stories no one really sees.
This book goes deep into that world, from billionaire lifestyles and celebrity encounters with names like Oprah Winfrey, Quincy Jones, Daviid Geffen, Harvey Weinstein, or President Zelenskyy, among others, to the raw reality of what it costs to survive in elite service.
Writing this was a huge accomplishment for me, and I think anyone who has ever worked crew life will connect with parts of it.
