I know this will go to an empty box, but as I mentioned above if you and your partner works for NCL don't come to Norwegian Luna.

I've been working for NCL for over 10 years, no warnings, no problems, not even a single complaint until now. I've been married for five years and I love my partner more than anything in this life. All the ships where we have been working had been so nice to give us a cabin for just the two of us, we don't even need to ask for it. Thats our little home far from home, our safe place, our refuge to relax from the daily routine. But looks like Norwegian LUNA has been made for single crew members only.

Out of nowhere they decide to split us and they didn't even care about our multiple request, since day one I asked if they have a plan for us and HR just keep giving us turnarounds, the ship was almost empty, full of empty cabins when we join the ship, however they just pushed us away saying they will fix it on March when the ship were full manning. Does that makes any sense?

We opened Norwegian Aqua and we didn't have any problem, they were so kind since day one we got our own cabin.

I asked them why Norwegian Aqua was able to accommodate us, and the answer was Aqua is Aqua this is Luna. Is not the same company? That company who was able to accommodate us in every single ship we have been on? Is it Norwegian Luna so special?

They are talking about wellness at sea and all that stuff but looks like HR is more busy doing administrative job than "HUMAN RESOURCES" work.

But anyways, as a said before, this will go to an empty box and for those ones who will start saying, that's the life onboard and all that stuff just remember the rights you are enjoying now is because someone, somewhere decided to speak out loud.

Thank you for your time reading this.

ANONYMOUS PLEASE

I just read in the forum the couple having trouble on Norwegian Luna, and I want to tell them they are not alone, sadly we are also experiencing the same situation even do we have been working for this company as a husband and wife for over ten years. Luckily I have to say, the previous ships where we have been always were looking ways to give us our own space.

Suddenly we came here and got the same disappointment as you. It is hard to believe that couple who doesn't even have their papers as a legal marriage have their couple cabin and the ones with legal documents are separate this way.
Is embarrassing to say but we had to pay our cabin mates to allowed us a solo time as a husband and wife (if you understand) cuz there is no other way we can be together.

Unfortunately we are just a Crew ID number, a safety number, onboard. I wish they can see us as we are, human beings with feeling and a life after work.

We are just waiting to get enough money so we can resigned and go home. Our marriage is more important that a work onboard.

Thank you for sharing your experience, unfortunately, nobody listen to us because is not affecting them, I've been following the chain of command onboard and looks like nobody cares, but I'll keep going even if this gets me to talk to Miami office, I've done my research and even people who came way after us got their own cabin, and I encountered that the flag is the same for all of them if you know what I'm trying to say.

If this is the case and they are like this with us because we don't belong to their country things will get more serious.

Let me know if you want to join me on this journey, this is not about the cabin only this is also for the equality of countries onboard.
